Helixicoids (2018)
About Textiles
Woven on handmade looms, I scavenged and collected a multitude of unlawfully discarded materials from yarn, floss, and string to dead branches and leaves. These Helixicoids became an ode to the sun-gods as I sacrificed therapeutic mediation and spindling movements to healing the planet with my single carbon footprint, one step at a time.
