Four-dimensional gateway to a deeper understanding.

Self-Portal (n.)

A dimensional space of manifestation of one's adaptations to their surroundings through experience. 

Slef-Portals create an interactive experience ito the qorld of self-portraiture. Like a Portal, these self-portals manifest my relationship with the world around me by luring my audience into a space of understanding the temporal boundaries of how others adapt differently. 

The Driving force behind these self-portals is my enduring interest in the rare visual condition I was born with called Nystagmus. With this condition I am left with the constant sensation of the world around me shifting. 

These self-portals create a passagemway of exploration beyond the visuals of traditional self-portraiture. I created a space where the viewer can enter the portal for any amount of time - thus when the viewer exits the portal, they belong to a new reality.
